My Story

I’m Michael Rozier Jr., Chief Instructor at Blaque Knight Defense—a proud Florida native deeply committed to service, family, and personal empowerment. Growing up in Orlando and attending Evans High School instilled in me a strong sense of pride and community. My upbringing laid the foundation for the discipline and resilience that have guided me throughout my life and career. After joining the military, my experiences further refined these traits, instilling in me an even greater sense of responsibility toward others. This drive is what motivates me to dedicate myself not only to firearms training but also to giving back to my community through various volunteer efforts.

As an active member of the MWUGL of Florida Masonic Order, AAONMS Malta Temple #143, and a dedicated volunteer with organizations like Give Kids The World, I strive to make a positive impact far beyond my professional work. These experiences have reinforced my belief in the importance of family, community, and self-confidence—values that I bring into every aspect of my life. Giving back is an essential part of who I am, and I’m committed to lifting up others, empowering them to make positive contributions to the world.

Family is at the core of my existence, and I take immense pride in my loved ones' achievements. My late father was a constant source of strength, providing unwavering support and guidance throughout my life. His legacy continues to inspire me every day, and I honor him by dedicating myself to helping others. In everything I do, I aim to carry on the lessons he taught me about resilience, dedication, and the importance of lifting others up. His influence drives me to be a positive force in the lives of those around me, ensuring that I help create a world where people feel both empowered and safe.

At Blaque Knight Defense, I bring these values—discipline, pride, respect, dedication, resilience, and self-confidence—into each training session, aiming to inspire others just as my father inspired me. I’m excited for the future, especially as we expand our services to include Executive Protection Services for the Central Florida area. This initiative will provide highly trained, reliable protection for individuals and businesses, raising the bar for safety and professionalism in our community.
